" WHY WONT ANYONE PLAY WITH ME!!" Oona flitted about with something that could only be described as the worlds most adorable pout. But given that her mask was always pouting that almost went with out saying. With out even thinking she flew on, and if anyone anywhere could see her they would think she was nothing more then an oddly colored floating light in the nights sky which in the end had caused more then a few instances of people screaming aliens and running to get their camera. This of course was a cause for great amusement for the tiny hollow, who more often then not fallowed these individuals around for days on end showing them glimpse of these aliens they so much wanted to see. Sadly there where no UFO enthusiasts about, nor where there any individuals who could be called "spiritually aware." So in the end Oona was left to her own devises with not a soul to keep her company.
This of course was mostly due to her being a pest and that as a whole the hollow race was not one filled with beings that enjoyed the simple pleasures that where play time. Still she tried, and she tried again and in most cases she was chased off with nary a word and much gnashing of teeth on her potential play mates end. This of course, more often then not, led her to the world of the still living and from time to time into the realm of the Shinigami. Of course on this day the self proclaimed child queen of the Fae found her self in a town that was, for what ever reason (she didn't care in the slightest what that reason was), filled with people who had at the very least the potential to see and in the end interact with her own overly chipper self.
Of course she seemed to find her self in the only part of town with not a single aware human being. Which of course was her luck. "W-why w-won''t anyone PLAY!?!" Her voice, which really was something more akin to a sob, was filled with something close to true despair. With a quick unneeded flutter of her wings she sped off, leaving a trail of tears behind her that would later baffle anyone that walked by. "Hey... HEY LISTEN!" Her plaintive cries fell on deaf ears time and time again, and soon she was taken with a Melancholy that could only be truly experienced by a centuries old child. And as her despair grew so to did the size of her tears, and soon she was leaving great puddles in her wake.
But while her sorrow was great so to was her hope! For a head she sensed what could well be a new and interesting friend. So as quick as quick could be she moved forward, appearing to any that cared to see as nothing more then a streak of bright yellow and white light in the evening air. And soon she was upon this person who she didn't as of yet but hoped to in the future, and alighting gently on their shoulder she reached for his ear pulled her self to it and with a voice that sounded was filled with hope she screamed. "HEY! HEY LISTEN! CAN YOU HEAR ME!"

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true]There's no need to change the past. Because of the past, we are who we are now. Every second, every action from then is linked to us here and now◣ | ◣Gray had no idea why he was still here in Karakura. It was days after his confrontation with the dinosaur-like Shinigami. Their bout had destroyed a lot of property, and the Fullbringer had ended up having to hide afterwards. After all, Gray didn't want to get arrested... again.
He should have gone home to Kagamino the instant the coast was clear, but he couldn't bring himself to. A lot of shit was going down and he couldn't bring himself to just leave now. The fact remained that he still had no idea why he had even come to Karakura in the first place. He had simply felt compelled. It was similar to the time when he had first met Takeshima. At that thought, Gray adopted an annoyed expression. Did it have something to do with that bait? There weren't any shortage of the Quincies who used it around here... Maybe it was handy to have powers, but his were of the worst possible nature. Everything was attracted to him and vice-versa.
Gray sighed. There wasn't any point in even thinking about it. It was something he couldn't change, and didn't need to. It might have been a pain in the ass, having 'Hollow' powers wasn't without its own benefits. He had felt it in his fight with Valcion; he was several times stronger than he used to be. He was finally starting to live up to Aoi's expectations. With this, he could prevent himself from losing anyone else.
Gray's train of thought was interrupted when he felt something land on his shoulder. He saw something glowing yellow out of the corner of his eye. "Huh?" And then it screamed loudly right in his ear, literally. He jumped in surprise, raising his hand to knock whatever it was off of his shoulder at the same time.
"What the..." His ears were ringing now. It was kind of ironic that it had asked him if he could hear, because he was pretty sure he couldn't after that screech. Or maybe he was just being dramatic.
When he got a better look at the thing that had screamed at him, Gray narrowed his eyes. It was tiny. The best way he could describe it, was that it looked like a fairy. But its Reiatsu told a whole different story. He was surprised that he hadn't noticed it before. He had been too deep in thought. But this was just another example of everything being attracted to him. "Well, shit." He wasn't going to catch a break any time soon, it seemed. It was weird, though. The fairy's Reiatsu was definitely that of a Hollow, and a powerful one at that; but it was so small. He had never seen anything like it before. But if it was a Hollow, why hadn't it tried to kill him when it had the chance? None of it added up.
"Yeah... I can hear you," he finally voiced, still staring at the Hollow suspiciously. "You didn't need to scream at me," he added with an annoyed growl. Maybe if he talked to the Hollow, it would just leave him alone and he wouldn't have to fight it. As it was, Gray knew that he was outmatched. Even if it was a Hollow, he wasn't going to jump straight into a fight if he could avoid it.◣ | ◣TAGGED: Oona ◣WORDS: 554 ◣NOTES: xxx

To say Oona squealed like a school girl who just got asked out by her secret crush would have been something of an understatement. In fact, she made school girls look... Calm. Soon she was jumping up and down upon his shoulder, and her squeals of delight turned to what can only be called manic laughter. The look on her face reflected said emotion, or at least it would have had it not been concealed by a mask whos calm demeanor seemed completely at odds with the tiny sprite. "YAY! Your my friend now!" And he was. seeing that he honestly didn't have a choice. They never had a choice. "No you can be my BEST friend! We can play tag and go shopping, not that i really need to shop, and eat icecream and even go to the forest and play hug the Menos! It will be great!! Just you wait and see!"
Jumping from Greys' shoulder, Oona hovered in front of his eyes. " Like, you don't even know how long i've been looking for a new person to play with! Its been ages..." She blinked once or twice and brought a single dainty finger to her lips. "More then ages really... Its been like five whole hours!"
"I don't know how I didn't die from boredom..." She then proceeded to fly not once, not twice but three times around the young mans head, the light that emitted from her body making it seem as if she was leaving a trail behind her so fast did she move. "But now I wont die! You know why big person?" She did not give him enough time to answer before she blurted it out her self. "Because you're here!! You are gonna save me from death by playing right? Like a prince that saves a princess from a dragon! And I am a princess! And the dragon is things that are not fun... And your the prince because you are fun! Right?" She came to a sudden stop in front of him again and patted his nose as she waited.

Every second, every action from then is linked to us here and now◣ | ◣Almost as soon as Gray had berated the fairy for screeching at him, she started squealing again, and for some reason, laughing. He hadn't succeeded in knocking it off of his shoulder, either, so it was right in his ear again. He didn't remember saying anything funny enough to illicit such a response. Was this some type of sound-based attack?
Feeling like his head was about to explode from all the high-pitched noise, Gray tried to knock the Hollow off of his shoulder again, but it had jumped away before he could. He took a couple steps back, anyway. "Shut up for a..." He was drowned out by the fairy's ravings before too long. Due to the incessant ringing in his ears, he only heard bits and pieces. 'Friend', 'shopping', 'ice cream', 'Menos'. He really had no idea what was going on right now.
Gray only stared dumbly as the Hollow flitted about and continued with its chatter. He could barely even believe that this was a Hollow. It wasn't trying to kill him, or anything for that matter, and seemed way too happy to see him. Maybe it was all just a trap. Gray couldn't tell at this point.
His hearing had slowly started to return when the fairy was talking about boredom dragons and Gray apparently saving her. He had missed way too much to be able to piece together any of it. "...what?" It was the only thing he could think of to say, and he could only hope that it didn't inspire another onslaught of screeching. Please don't scream at me again...◣ | ◣TAGGED: Oona ◣WORDS: 264 ◣NOTES: xxx

With one simple word Oona's good mood plummeted! It seemed that this Big... Was unable to understand her, nor it seemed communicate on any sort of intelligent level! Not that she hd much to base that on of course, but Oona being as flighty as she was based all of her observations off the first few moments of actual contact. Still, as disheartened as she was Oona could not let something so simple as a simple mind stop her from enjoying her self otherwise she would have been doomed to a life filled with nothing but boredom and bumbling. So, in an effort to get this man to understand Oona tried once more to explain the situation. "Meeeee Princess!" She points to her self and mimes walking about in a large and overly complicated dress while hovering in mid air. The she points to grey and mimes swinging a sword. "You prince! You slay the dragon. Do you know that word Big? Dragon?"
She hopped he understood her if only because she dreaded having to search out another person to play with. " You the Prince, play with me the princess! And we have fun! Do you understand?" Her words came slow and as clear as a bell, though they where filled with what one could call trepidation. And then a though of such grandiose proportions hit her... What if this Big... Didn't know how to play? Or have fun? The though, as mind boggling as it was, could well be the case! After all most Bigs didn't seem to want to play and seemed almost insulted when she asked. With that in mind she flitted closer, hovering just centimeters from his nose as she looked closely into one of his(To her) incredibly large eyes.
"You do know what play is right? And fun? Nod your head if you know what fun is!" Her voice was as deadly serious as the tiny creature could manage, which in all honesty was not serious at all. In fact she sounded like nothing more then a six year old talking down to her father in that way that six year olds have. "But dun worry if you don't! Ill teach ya all about fun and games and play! I' really good at it! So good that lots of really big bigs enjoy playing Tag and your'e Dinner! with me! But they never catch me! I'm to good for that!" And it was true, she was the world(The world in question being that of the hollows) Champion of Tag and you're Dinner! And if anyone could teach a Big about fun and games it would be her!

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true]There's no need to change the past. Because of the past, we are who we are now. Every second, every action from then is linked to us here and now◣ | ◣Thankfully, the fairy didn't start screeching at him again. Instead, she started talking in a strange manner and making gestures. Obviously, Gray's response, or lack thereof, had led her to think that he was stupid, or something like that. She really did jump to conclusions quickly.
Gray resisted the urge to face palm and sighed, closing his eyes for a moment. "Yes, I know what a dragon is... he replied, suddenly feeling tired. He also knew that there were no dragons around here, and that he didn't really want to pretend there was. He was starting to think that he didn't have much of a choice, though.
"I don't think..." And he was cut off once again. Looking more irritated more than anything else, he slowly nodded his head up and down, wishing that the fairy would get out of his face. "I don't really feel like playing today, though. I'm too tired," he said, trying to be good-natured as he turned the offer down. He wasn't exactly lying. But either way, he had no intention of playing some kid's game with anyone, let alone a Hollow. Maybe this one wasn't so bad, but he hated Hollows in general. Something bad was bound to happen if he hung around with one for too long. Besides, with a name like "Tag and You're Dinner", the game didn't sound too great.
"Sorry." He didn't know why he felt guilty, but nonetheless turned and started walking away, hoping that the fairy wouldn't persist any further.◣ | ◣TAGGED: Oona ◣WORDS: 249 ◣NOTES: xxx
