End Point "Stats" System
1) Classes
2) Categories (aka Stats)
3) Stat Points
Also, instead of allocating these points to your stats there is a second option, you may also purchase a new technique. In place of adding these stat points you will have the option, upon completing a thread, to take the points you have earned and instead use them to buy a technique slot.
All you have to do, when you submit your thread to be graded, is state whether or not you're seeking to increase your stats or buy a technique slot. These points can stack, and if you wish to save up to make multiple purchases then just let an Admin or Mod know. Note however that it is not the responsibility of the staff to keep track of how many points you have accumulated.
The cost of points per technique is 2.
5) Special Point additions
So, many forum RP sites has a tier system, word-based system, or a system that really just deters from the center of RP: Role-playing. Here at End Point, the staff have worked hard to find a system which could surpass the standards and seamlessly integrate Role-play with numbers. The purpose of this system is to make "my character is faster than yours" a fact. No more having to whine to a mod to complain that someone dodges everything, or doesn't take enough hits. This RP system uses numbers to establish rules so godmodding is minimized and the joys of role-playing are maximized.
Note: This topic may seem long with many spoilers and seemingly extra information, but this will be a topic you will frequently visit, so take the time to read this in-depth and ask questions so you can have a great experience here on End Point.
1) Classes
Everyone gets ranked by their Role-play sample on the application of their character into one of these Classes. Make sure to read the linked thread before you continue reading.
2) Categories (aka Stats)
Each ranking will have a certain amount of "stat points" which are points which can be applied to any one of these categories (aka stats):
- Hankou (lit Resistance; abbr. HAN) – The amount of damage the character can withstand. The equivalent of defense, hit points, and stamina. Basically, their tolerance for pain and how long they can continue fighting. Characters with high HAN can take more blows and can withstand heavier ones to some degree. Of course, instant KO/kill shots are not subject to this.
- Reiryoku (lit Spiritual Energy; abbr. REI) – The amount of energy, both spiritual and regular, a character has. The equivalent of mana and magic points. This determines how many techniques you can use per thread, including Kido, Cero, and other natural abilities. Those with high REI may be able to slow the movement of their opponent(s). This is possible if the character in question has REI double or more compared to that of their opponent.
- Hakuda (lit Physical Combat; abbr. HAK) - Control and coordination of one’s body. The equivalent of physical attack strength, hand-to-hand combat skill, agility, awareness, and leg strength. Characters with high HAK will have more strength behind their melee (armed or unarmed) attacks. In some cases, they may even be able to break through defense techniques (if HAK is higher than opponent’s SEI).
- Seijuu (lit Energy Control; abbr. SEI) – Control over special energy formation, manipulation, usage, strength, and execution. The equivalent of Kido, Cero, spiritual attacks, spiritual attack strength, spiritual attack control. Those with high SEI may be able to fend off or overwhelm opponent’s techniques with their own. Shinigami/Visored with high SEI have access to more Kido spells.
- Bukijuu (lit Weapon Control; abbr. BUK) – Weapon control, skill, and dexterity. The equivalent of accuracy (for any kind of attack), weapon mastery, and weapon skill. Those with high BUK have precise aim. They stand better chances in armed combat compared to those with lower BUK.
- Hoho (lit Speed; abbr. HOH) – Speed of the character, movement. The equivalents of movement speed and evasion. Basically how fast your character can move. This does not count as reaction time, which is HAK. Those with higher HOH have more refined Shunpo/Sonido/etc. and may have access to its variants if any.
Comparisons:
1-2 difference in a stat: slight advantage
3-5 difference in a stat: moderate advantage
6-8 difference in a stat: high advantage
9+ difference: raping timeExample: Gregory the shinigami runs at a hollow so slowly that the hollow sits waiting for him. Gregory deftly slashes the hollow but he barely hurts it. Gregory shoots a great Getsuga Tenshou at the hollow. The hollow easily dodges and throws a slab of concrete at Gregory which Gregory noticed too late. Gregory was effectively crushed by the concrete slab.
- HAN – Gregory could not withstand the slab of concrete because his HAN was lower than the HAK of the hollow.
- REI – Gregory needed some REI to power him as he used the getsuga tenshou and as he moved about.
- HAK – Gregory did not really hurt the hollow with his slash nor could he dodge the slab of concrete because of his low HAK.
- SEI – Gregory could be in shikai and form/shoot the getsuga tenshou because of a high SEI.
- BUK – Gregory was able to deftly slash the evasive hollow because he had high BUK.
- HOH – Gregory came at the hollow slowly and the hollow easily dodged the Getsuga Tenshou, not necessarily because of Gregory’s low HOH, but because Gregory’s HOH was low in comparison to the hollow's.
Note: Some have distributed their points ignoring the connotations of having one of these stats low. Please understand that if, during a fight, you claim your character can act better than their stats say, your opponent or a moderator will point it out and you'll have to redo your post. Do NOT underestimate the severity of these categories.
3) Stat Points
The amount of Stat Points (Points), the maximum amount of stat points a category may have (Max Stat), and how many categories can have this maximum amount of points (# of Max Stats) are as follows:
Class-Level| Points| Max Stat| # of Max Stats PT-0 140 30 4 MT-0 130 28 4 MT-1 125 26 4 MT-2 120 25 4 EL-0 110 24 4 EL-1 105 21 4 EL-2 98 21 3 AV-0 90 18 4 AV-1 83 18 3 AV-2 76 16 4 AV-3 70 16 3 AD-0 60 13 4 AD-1 55 13 3 AD-2 50 13 2 NV-0 45 9 4 NV-1 39 9 3 NV-2 34 9 2 NV-3 30 9 1 BG-0 26 6 4 BG-1 23 6 3 BG-2 20 6 2 BG-3 17 6 1

To move up in classes or levels, simply acquire the amount of points listed beside the class and level. Once you move up in class/level, the benefits include:
- Being able to associate with the classes and levels listed here.
- Having your max stat and number of max stats raised
- Possibly obtaining shikai, bankai, ressureccion etc.
- Can unlock a new technique each time you level up if you choose.
4) Acquiring Points
Points are awarded for completed topics
- For a battle to be considered for stat points, the battle must be declared over which is officially done by one of the parties posting here. A mod will grade the performance of each party individually. For points to be awarded, the posts in the battle must be truly noteworthy either in post quality and/or post content. If points are merited, the one obtaining a point will be informed directly. Do NOT demand a point, because this is a sure-fire, bull's eye method for making mods not even want to check your posts (remember that means we have to go through your post slowly and thoroughly). If, after you have submitted you do not receive a private message (PM) telling you you have received a point 24 hours after your post in the battle submission thread, you did not receive any points. Do not whine if you don't receive points; simply make an effort to get better.
Note: Winning is not a category for this system of grading. Role-playing skill is the important factor. Also, you cannot earn stat points from threads in the off-topic RP forum.- There may sometimes be events or contests where you can gain points. Fulfil the requirements on the topic of the event or contest, and you may be eligible to receive points.
- You can also create a regular thread with Casual RP (non-battle posts) which will be graded for content quality.
For those of you playing visored characters: as you know, visored masks, when activated, increase the attributes of a character. Regarding stats, it is different. When using a mask, you will receive 4 extra points to add to any of your stats. This is ONLY for the duration of the mask. While this is in effect, you must add your stats (with the increases) on the end of each RP post you make with that character.
And no, you cannot increase the points you recieve through hollowfication; it will always be only 4. Use them wisely. Also, it must be set. Once you choose where to employ the extra points, you cannot change it. The placements must be the same every time your character hollowfies.
These added stat points can only increase ONE category two (2) stat points past its maximum stat. (I.E.: If you are an AD, your stat cap is 13, but, with the mask on, you can have one stat at 15).
Also, Masks (since they are substantial help) have time limits (measured in posts) as follows:
PT- 18 (recovery- 18)
MT- 15 (recovery- 15)
EL- 13 (recovery- 13)
AV- 11 (recovery- 11)
AD- 8 (recovery- 8)
NV- 5 (recovery- 5)
BG- 3 (recovery- 3)
Once a mask has run out of turns, it disappears and weakens the user. The user will lose their 3 added stat points, plus one point from each stat temporarily after the mask breaks. Do not forget that, after you use your mask, you are in a weakened state!

Canonically, Shikai and Bankai seem to give the user a boost in some stats. If observed closely, though, Shikai gives a rather negligible boost compared to Bankai, so we will not give a boost for Shikai; only Bankai. Bankai's boost will be treated like the Visored masks are treated: you get a stat boost in exchange for a certain requirement.
When using Bankai, you will receive 8 extra points to add to any of your stats. This is ONLY for the duration of the Bankai. While this is in effect, you must add your stats (with the increases) on the end of each RP post you make with that character.
You cannot increase the points you receive through Bankai; it will always be eight. The distribution of the points must be set. Once you choose where to employ the extra points, you cannot change how they are distributed. The placements must be the same every time your character goes into Bankai.
These added stat points can only increase two category two (2) stat points past their maximum stat point (I.E.: If you are an AV-0, your max stat is 18, but, with Bankai activated, you can have two stats at 20).
As stated above, since Bankai's stat boost is based on canon information, the canon also shows that those who can use Bankai have very high reiatsu. Since reiatsu is a reflection of your REI stat, to achieve Bankai, you will be required to have a certain amount of points in your REI pre-Bankai boost:
PT-0 - REI: 27
MT-0 - REI: 25
MT-1 - REI: 23
MT-2 - REI: 22
EL-0 - REI: 21
EL-1,2 -REI: 18
AV-0,1 - REI: 15
AV-2,3 - REI: 13
If you do not have this much REI, you will not be able to achieve Bankai regardless of your rank. Once you fall out of Bankai, you lose the boost.Resurreccion and Segunda Etapa also seem to give the user a boost in some stats. Their boost will be treated like the Visored masks/Bankai are treated: you get a stat boost in exchange for a certain requirement.
When using Resurreccion, you will receive 8 extra points to add to any of your stats. This is ONLY for the duration of the Resurreccion. While this is in effect, you must add your stats (with the increases) on the end of each RP post you make with that character.
You cannot increase the points you receive through Resurreccion; it will always be eight. The distribution of the points must be set. Once you choose where to employ the extra points, you cannot change how they are distributed. The placements must be the same every time your character goes into Resurreccion.
These added stat points can only increase two category two (2) stat points past their maximum stat point (I.E.: If you are an AV-0, your max stat is 18, but, with Bankai activated, you can have two stats at 20).
Now for Segunda Etapa you will only increase 4 stat points, because the increase from your Resurreccion will stack; and as such you could just pump those same stats again, there for the Segunda increase will only push your stats one over their usual limit.(I.E: If you’re an MT-1 and your max stat is 26, but your Resureccion bumped it up to 28, your Segunda Etapa could only bump it up to 29. You can have two stats at 29).
As with Resureccion, the increase from Segunda will last only as long as Segunda is active, and once the points are allocated they cannot be changed, and the increase will always be four, not more nor less. The Sin’s True Form increase follows the same boost system as Resurreccion/Segunda Etapa/Bankai but with a small change. Their boost will be treated like the Visored masks are treated: you get a stat boost in exchange for a certain requirement.
When using their True Form, you will receive 10 extra points to add to any of your stats. This is ONLY for the duration of your True Form. While this is in effect, you must add your stats (with the increases) on the end of each RP post you make with that character.
You cannot increase the points you receive through using their True Form; it will always be ten. The distribution of the points must be set. Once you choose where to employ the extra points, you cannot change how they are distributed. The placements must be the same every time your character goes into their True Form.
These added stat points can only increase three categories three (3) stat points past their maximum stat point (I.E.: If you are an MT-0, your max stat is 28, but, while in their True Form, you can have three stats at 31).
Note: Only Sins have a True Form, normal Togabito are incapable of having a True Form. The Quinices Vollstandig increase follows the same boost system as Resurreccion/Segunda Etapa/Bankai but with a small change. Their boost will be treated like the Visored masks are treated: you get a stat boost in exchange for a certain requirement.
When using their Vollstandig, you will receive 8 extra points to add to any of your stats. This is ONLY for the duration of your Vollstandig. While this is in effect, you must add your stats (with the increases) on the end of each RP post you make with that character.
You cannot increase the points you receive through using their Vollstandig; it will always be eight. The distribution of the points must be set. Once you choose where to employ the extra points, you cannot change how they are distributed. The placements must be the same every time your character goes into their Vollstandig.
These added stat points can only increase three categories three (3) stat points past their maximum stat point (I.E.: If you are an MT-0, your max stat is 28, but, while in their Vollstandig, you can have three stats at 31).
Note: Only Quincies EL-2 or higher can use Vollstandig.Q: What if you have left over points?
A: You don't. Add everything again and apply all your points.
Q: Won't we eventually have tons of MT or PT ranks roaming about?
A: No.
Q: I'm the Cero Espada! What do I do with the going from 10 to 0?
A: List both Stats separately.
Q: I my best character is an AV-2. Can I automatically get an AV-3? NV-1?
A: For the AV-3, it depends on the character. The Mod grading the character will inform you. The NV-1 can have the rank, but that does not mean the character is automatically approved. It just means you are not required to make another RP sample.
Q: How do I level/rank up?
A: Get the amount of points that the next level would start out with, and you level up.
Q: Where is reiatsu?
A: Reiatsu is a manifestation of Reiryoku, so higher Reiryoku, higher reiatsu and visa versa.
Q: Does high HOH mean strong kicks?
A: No. In Bleach, we see that movement techniques depend on much more than strong legs. Leg strength is covered by HAK.
